Overview

OWDC is a leading organic product for soil management. It was started by Late Dr. Krishna Chandra while he was the Director of N.C.O.F. OWDC is the result of nearly 15 years of research by Dr. Chandra. Initially, it was named "Waste Decomposer" and was available in gel form. Currently, it is available in pouch form as OWDC.

Advantages

Uses

• OWDC solution can be used in farming and gardening.
• It helps keep the soil healthy, nutrient-rich, and enriched with carbon humus.
• Use 1000 liters of OWDC solution per acre with water.
• It can be used 8 to 10 times in the field, depending on water availability and convenience.
• It can also be sprayed on plants by mixing with water and other DKC products.

Method of preparation

• Take a plastic drum, 100 liters of water, 500 grams of jaggery, and one OWDC pouch.
• Add 100 liters of water to the drum. Add 500 grams of jaggery and mix well. Then add one OWDC pouch to the solution.
• Use 500 grams of jaggery per 100 liters of water.
• Example: Add 5 kg jaggery to 1000 liters of water.
• Stir the solution 3–4 times a day. It will be ready for use in 4–5 days.
• Always keep the solution covered with a cotton cloth.
